Britney's VMA performance

TO WATCH BRITNEY'S VMA PERFORMANCE OF "GIMME MORE," VISIT THE LINK BELOW (copy and paste it into your browser):
http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?id=1568788&vid=173440
I expected some hardcore lip synching and that's what we got! Britney's team did the best they could with her, too, and to their credit, from the neck up she was looking the best she has in a while! However, she could have covered up the middle a little more and focused on her boobs and legs instead for now. She looks good for having had 2 kids, but based on her lack of energy while dancing, even she knew she'd jiggle some with that outfit. It's a shame, but the more you watch the performance the more you like it. I give it a B-. Maybe she would have been more pumped had she performed in front of fans and not industry people. She should have worn what the stripper girls wore and danced a bit harder, but it's nice to have Brit back. Just go into it expecting the worst and hoping for the best before you watch it. Let's not kick someone while they're down! Hopefully the media will focus just as much on how this was the most bizzare, disorganized VMAs in history as a whole (if anyone stuck around after Britney's opening number). They handed out about 5 awards and aired maybe 3 full performances. Nice! But anyway, while you're at the MTV site, give the Nelly Furtado/Timbaland/Justin Timberlake finale performance a view. It was probably the most worthwhile moment of the show.

Listen to Britney's new song!

Visit http://www.z100.com/pages/britney_premiere.html to listen to Britney Spears' new song, "Gimme More." It should end about a minute before it does, but it is surprisingly catchy and should make for a great lip synched performance if she does grace the VMA stage on September 9th as rumored. Enjoy the track :)

Britney's New Magazine Cover

Britney Spears finally has a new magazine cover with a photo from an actual shoot and not a random topless pool shot with bad weave! Britney will be on Allure magazine's September 2007 cover with a shot from a recent photo shoot. However, it has been said that Allure had problems with Britney during the shoot, so who knows what the article will be like. In the meantime, for old time's sake, watch Britney's performance from the 2000 MTV VMAs. As sad as it is to watch it today, it's one of those tv appearances where you'll never forget the first time you watched it. Hopefully Brit can get her act together soon. Award shows have been very boring without her! Anyway, enjoy the classic VMA performance:

EXCLUSIVE "Sober" Video (I Know Who Killed Me)
Two things in dire need of promotion and support right now are Kelly Clarkson's latest US single, "Sober," and Lindsay Lohan's new movie, "I Know Who Killed Me." Above you will find a video of Kelly Clarkson's song featuring clips of Lindsay's movie. Kelly's song has great vocals and builds to a powerful climax. Lindsay's movie, well, we haven't seen it yet, but it should be one of those guilty pleasures we will never admit we paid 9 dollars to watch. Is it ironic that a video for a song called sober includes Lindsay Lohan in it? Anyway, enjoy the video :) Visit kellyclarkson.com for more information on this artist and iknowwhokilledme.com for more information on this movie.

Janet Jackson: Put It On U

One of the tracks Janet Jackson recorded during the Damita Jo album sessions is now available for download. It sounds a bit like a demo for J. Lo to record, so that may be why it didn't make the cut for the album, but it's worth a listen. Janet is expected to release a new single this year from the Rush Hour 3 soundtrack. Hopefully she can get her career back on track and continue performing like only she can. Click the link below for a zip file containing audio of the song. Ask Kelly Clarkson a Question!
Kelly Clarkson's "My December" out June 26!
Much has been made in the media of Kelly Clarkson's struggle to ensure her new album, My December, gets released as she recorded it. The record label wasn't happy with her finished product and was trying to get Kelly to record and add more polished, mainstream songs to the album before releasing it. Kelly, however, stood true to her vision and wouldn't give in to their requests. While agreeing it is not as mainstream as her last work, she is extremely happy with the project and sequenced the album so it tells a story from beginning to end. Her hard work and determination paid off and as a result, on June 26 you can pick up a copy to decide who was right! Till then, enjoy the above video which features clips of Kelly performing live at the opening show of her Addicted Tour in West Palm Beach on June 30, 2006. It includes clips of new songs which may or may not make it onto the new album and ends with a Kelly classic.
